What is the deal with healing crystals and stones? Do healing crystals work? Perhaps you have just purchased a healing crystal or you received one as a gift. Together we will dig into how healing crystals work on an energetic level as well as with science. I consider myself a spiritual person and believe in the energetics of healing crystals. However, I understand the point of view of those that appreciate a bit of provable science to understand why healing crystals work. 

Do healing crystals work or is just the placebo effect?

Are crystals just the placebo effect? Or do they have true metaphysical properties? What are the properties of healing crystals? Science has proven that the placebo effect is real. There are many studies that have shown the power of the mind does have an effect on the results. Science also shows that healing crystals are real. There is provable science that well-known scientists have discovered to back these natural tools.

Healing Crystals have been around since the very beginning of time.

It takes thousands if not millions of years for crystal creation. Healing crystals encompass the power of nature like the sun, the moon, ocean, etc. Healing crystals are energy and are made of Earth’s Energy. Just like we are also made of energy. We are all made of energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed. It simply changes form. Einstein stated “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it.”

Healing crystals connects us with Earth’s energy. One of the first uses that one may explore with healing crystals is manifestation. In particular, manifesting your intention. 

Using healing crystals connects us with the energy of Mother Earth. Crystals are tangible, meaning we can hold on to them, we can see them, we feel them. We connect with the energy of crystals by holding them, wearing them, or by having them in our environment. By having them near, they serve as a reminder of our intention. Remember, our intention is what we are working on, what we are manifesting, what we claim as ours in this reality. The best way to start working with crystals is by programming them.

By programming your crystals, it's like you are adding a team member to your team. When you program your crystal, your crystal is able to focus on your intention to help you manifest it. The crystals you have programmed and are working with become infused with your intentions, good thoughts, positivities, and high vibrations. Place crystals around your house, on your work space, in your car, or in your bra or pocket. When you see them in the areas that you have placed them, they serve as a visual reminder of your intention, of what you are manifesting. 

So How Do Healing Crystals Work?

Crystals have been a part of earth since the beginning of time. In fact, quartz makes up over 10% of the earth’s crust. Homo Sapiens ( that’s us!) have used crystals as a part of their talismans, jewelry, and even makeup since the dawn of time. Many ancient civilizations used crystals and there have been many historical findings of crystal usage dating very far back. There are many modern uses of quartz in our current day and age. Crystals like quartz are found in many technological devices like computer chips and the electronics we use daily including your smartphone!

How Crystals Work

Crystals work because of entrainment. Entrainment is a physics principle that was discovered in 1665 by a scientist and physicist named  Christian Huygens. What exactly is entrainment? Entrainment is the theory that two energy bodies will, in time, match and vibrate at the same frequency. He was able to prove this theory with pendulum clocks. Christian Huygens found that the pendulum clocks will always sync up with one another in time. They always fall into the same rhythm. They would always start off swinging at different times and they would always match. He found that entrainment is a basic law of physics. It is easier for two energy bodies to match the frequency, to mimic it, then to oppose it and fight against it.  Crystals work because our energetic bodies match the high vibrational energies that the crystals hold and maintain.

Crystals are not just “woo woo”.

There are many different scientists who have proven through science that crystals have energy and do work. One of the first scientists to see this scientific evidence was Marcel Vogel. Marcel Vogel was an IBM scientist. He was able to see the crystals through his microscope change form to whatever he was thinking about! His hypothesis was that the bonds on a molecular level are constantly reassembling due to the vibrations. He was also able to prove that quartz can store thoughts. Albert Einstein was another scientist who believed in the vibrational energy of crystals. Everything in this life is a vibration, similar to a wave.

So if you think a particular healing crystal has the potential to help, the positive vibrations of the crystal will match that thought frequency. What I have learned is that crystals are energy. Crystals reconnect us with the energy of this earth.

Crystals work for me. Every moment of every single day we are making choices. We choose how we feel and how we react to the situations that we face.  We choose our thoughts, no one else. We are responsible for how we feel and how we act. Healing crystals are tools to help and serve as a reminder that anything is possible in this reality. We can have the life we desire. Healing crystals reconnect us to the high vibrational energy of this Earth. We are energy. Everything is connected.

It is important to remember that Healing crystals aren’t going to be an instant fix to your problems. You can’t just wish for it, you must work for it. Whatever “It” is for you.
