Clear quartz does look like an icicle so the name is fitting. The Moh’s level of hardness for the clear quartz crystal is 7. Clear Quartz in its natural and pure form is called Rock Crystal.

Other types of quartz are aventurine, amethyst, ametrine, rose quartz, smoky quartz, blue quartz, tiger’s eye, tangerine quartz, phantom quartz, aqua aura quartz, golden healer quartz,  and many more! The Quartz family is huge! Could you imagine their family reunion?
